GRINDING STONE COLLECTIVE RECEIVES GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT FROM THE CHINOOK FUND

Grinding Stone Collective is honored to receive general operating support through the Another World is Possible grant from the Chinook Fund. This funding provides flexible resources that allow us to continue and expand our work in Indigenous food sovereignty, community distribution, and land-based education.

General operating support is critical to grassroots organizations like ours, as it allows us to respond to community needs in real time, sustain ongoing programs, and invest in the relationships and infrastructure that make this work possible.

At a time when many funding streams remain restricted or project-specific, this kind of trust-based investment affirms the importance of community-led solutions. It allows us to continue building systems rooted in reciprocity, access, and long-term care.
